Vulnerability Management Solution for the fourth consecutive year. The award was
announced at the SC Awards Gala, held in conjunction with the annual

Today at RSA Conference 2010, Core Security Technologies announced the integration of CORE IMPACT Pro, the industry's leading automated penetration testing software solution with QualysGuard PCI Connect. With this integration, Qualys customers can now address PCI DSS Requirement 11.3 - which directs merchants to perform in-depth penetration testing both annually and after making upgrades or modifications to IT systems retaining sensitive cardholder data.
PCI Connect customers can now run IMPACT Pro's PCI Vulnerability Validation Report to complete their Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) directly within the QualysGuard PCI Connect interface. IMPACT Pro also allows organizations to carry out a wide range of security assessments dictated by other PCI DSS guidelines, as well as validate the efficacy of many mandated security controls.

Randy most recently was the Information Security Officer at Yodlee responsible for insuring a high-level security posture of Yodlee's Internet based financial services. Before Yodlee, Randy served as CSO for WebEx Communications, a Cisco company.

At this years 7th Annual Qualys Security Conference, Qualys customers and security professionals from around the world convened at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco to discuss IT security and compliance best practices. The event went for 3 days (October 5-7) and it included a day of QualysGuard training.
Keynote presentations included:
- Mark Nicollet, VP and distinguished analyst at Gartner, who discussed the importance of aligning security assessment with business objectives in order to succeed in securing the enterprise.
- Bob Russo, GM of the PCI Council, who gave an update on PCI DSS and the objectives of the council in 2010.
"I just wanted to say this was one of the most information conferences I have ever attended. The information presented was both informative and beneficial. Meeting the folks at Qualys really helped since I am brand new with using the product," said Allstate, Security Consultant.

iDefense intelligence with scanning data from QualysGuard
Vulnerability Management (VM). This integration drives immediate
availability of two new services that combine advanced, in-depth
security threat intelligence and vulnerability scanning data, which
enables enterprises to protect critical IT assets from compromise or
attack, particularly against zero-day threats and vulnerabilities.
Zero-day threats are exploitable security vulnerabilities in software
that are discovered before the software vendor has identified them and
