Qualys Wins SC Magazine Award 2010 for Best Vulnerability Management

The award was announced at the SC Awards Gala, held in conjunction with the annual RSA Conference in San Francisco on March 2, 2010.

Core Security Technologies Completes Integration with QualysGuard PCI Connect

Today at RSA Conference 2010, Core Security Technologies announced the integration of CORE IMPACT Pro, the industry's leading automated penetration testing software solution with QualysGuard PCI Connect. With this integration, Qualys customers can now address PCI DSS Requirement 11.3 - which directs merchants to perform in-depth penetration testing both annually and after making upgrades or modifications to IT systems retaining sensitive cardholder data.

PCI Connect customers can now run IMPACT Pro's PCI Vulnerability Validation Report to complete their Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) directly within the QualysGuard PCI Connect interface. IMPACT Pro also allows organizations to carry out a wide range of security assessments dictated by other PCI DSS guidelines, as well as validate the efficacy of many mandated security controls.

Qualys Announces New Services to Help Businesses Protect Their Web Sites from Malware and Vulnerabilities

Today at RSA Conference USA 2010, Qualys announced two new services to help businesses stop malware and vulnerabilities on their web sites.

Qualys launched QualysGuard® Malware Detection, a free service that proactively scans web sites of any size, anywhere in the world, for malware infections and threats. QualysGuard Malware Detection provides businesses with automated alerts and in-depth reporting for effective remediation of identified malware. Qualys Introduces First Certified Cloud-Based Solution for Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC) Compliance

Today Qualys announced the first certified cloud-based computing solution for FDCC compliance. The new QualysGuard FDCC module, validated by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as conforming to the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and its component standards, provides a centralized, integrated solution leveraging the QualysGuard Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) architecture helping federal agencies validate the configuration of their desktops according to FDCC regulations.
